⚠️ Important Guidelines Before You File
The IRS requires specific documentation to verify that all claims are eligible. Keep these structural rules in mind before filing:
Medical & Dental FSA: You cannot request reimbursement for "pre-paid" services. The underlying medical or dental service must have already physically occurred.
Dependent Care & Commuter Benefits: You are permitted to submit a claim for up to one month of future reimbursement. Rocky Mountain Reserve reviews these submissions to ensure they fall within the current active plan year.
The Golden Rule of Receipts: Your supporting documents must clearly display the Provider/Merchant Name, Family Member Name, Date of Service, Amount Paid, and a clear Service Description.
🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Submit a Claim
Rocky Mountain Reserve provides multiple convenient ways to file your claim.
Option 1: RMR Online Portal (Recommended)
Log in to your account at the RMR Online Portal.
On the left-hand sidebar menu, select Reimburse Me.
-
Upload Receipt: You can upload a digital file, scan a QR code to upload instantly from your mobile device, or select Skip Upload to enter details manually.
💡 Pro Tip: If you upload a receipt first, our system automatically scans the document and auto-fills the form fields for you!
If our automated scanner displays a warning message such as:
"Provider/Merchant and Service description or Amount paid or Date of Service not found!"
Please bypass the warning and submit the claim anyway. As long as the details are clearly visible on your receipt document, our claims team will manually review and verify it for you.
4. Review & Edit: Double-check that the auto-filled fields match your paperwork: Provider/Merchant, Family Member, Date of Service, Amount, and Service Description.
5. Submit: Check the certification box to confirm the information is accurate and click Submit.
Option 2: RMR Mobile App
Open the RMR Mobile App on your smartphone and submit claims directly using your device's built-in camera to quickly capture and upload receipt images.
Option 3: Paper Claims
If you do not have internet access or a smartphone, you may request a physical paper claim form by emailing info@rmrbenefits.com. We will mail a paper form to your home address on file.
💰 How Will I Receive My Reimbursement?
Once your claim has been uploaded, reviewed, and approved, your reimbursement will be issued automatically through your chosen payment election.
