If you would like to cancel your COBRA coverage, Rocky Mountain Reserve needs written instructions sent via email, fax, or mail. RMR needs this request in writing to avoid accidental terminations. Please include the name of the primary on the COBRA account, the last four of primary's Social Security Number, the previous employer, and the day the coverage should end. RMR will then send a termination notification to the insurance carriers.
Most employers do not allow you to cancel coverage in the middle of the month and get a prorated refund.
Your COBRA coverage will also end automatically if you do not make the monthly COBRA premium payment within the 30 day grace period.
