Determining if an Expense is FSA Eligible

Check What is a Qualifying Expense

You can check what items or services are eligible expenses by going to our What's Covered table. You can either use the search bar to search through all qualifying expenses, or you can click on a letter to browse through the section. Use this table to find what you can use your benefit funds for.

The item or service will either say "Qualified expense", "Potentially Eligible", or "Not Eligible".  Under the comments section, you will find any exceptions or rules. 

• Potentially Eligible: This usually indicates it will only be eligible if the participant provides a prescription or a letter of medical necessity from a medical professional. You can find this form on Downloadable Forms page, under "Letter of Medical Necessity". 
• Note: If you are curious if a specific item is eligible, we recommend using general terms in your search as specific brands are usually not listed. For example, use Activity Tracker instead of Fitbit.
